A San Antonio area-based property manager and decorated United States Air Force (USAF) officer, Scott Bethel is the director of operations at STR, where he manages more than 125 short-term real estate properties. He founded Integrity ISR in 2012 and served as CEO of the company for a decade. During that time, he grew the business to employ 40 people and earned annual revenues of $5 million. Scott Bethel worked with prime and sub-contract partners such as the USAF, Leidos, Fairfax National Security Solutions, and Lockheed Martin.
Scott Bethel spent over 25 years with the USAF and became a senior officer. He last served the military arm as vice commander of the Air Force Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency. He completed six deployments with the USAF and earned various awards and decorations, including the Legion of Merit, Combat Action Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal.
Mr. Bethel leverages his intelligence and security experience to serve as visiting distinguished practitioner of intelligence at Angelo State University. He's also an emertius member of the board of directors for the National Military Intelligence Association. He holds a master's degree in strategic intelligence from Defense Intelligence College and a bachelor of arts in political science and history from Northern Illinois University.
